Galaxy S5 has the storage problem the Galaxy S4 had

This is a big improvement. Most Android phones that are 16GB have about 12 out of the box, now the S5 has around 11.
So the 32GB version should be around 26-27

Sent from my Galaxy S4 running SlimKat 4.4.2

Agree. I wish OEMs would make 32gb the min. But I'm sure until apple does it, we will keep having these smaller storage amounts.

Really wish they had gotten rid of the 16GB version like they did with the Note 3 last year.

I'm on Verizon. When I got my s4 last week, all that was available online and at the store was 16gb. Now there are no s4's available online. I won't be surprised if the 32gb s5's are vaporware for me as well.
Didn't find out until after I got the phone that s4's have issues with sd cards, losing data and even killing the cards. Even with that, my s4 is a lot cooler than my wife's and daughter's i4s.

And of course, they dropped the s4 price right afte I got mine too....same thing happens every time I fill up with gas.

They will offer a 32GB version. Expect to pay 80 to 100 dollars more for it.

Think of the revenues generated the adding <10 dollars to the cost of the 32GB device. 70 dollars * millions = big bonuses
.

No way, the 32GB version is typically $50 more at most. This isn't CrApple where a increase in storage jumps $100. The Galaxy Note 3 is $699 on Verizon with 32GB and the S4 when it was new was pretty close to that price if I recall correctly. Its now down to $499 off contract or the BOGO promo or the Buy 4 family bundle.

Verizon offered a 32GB S4 last year it was only available online or through telesales or if the store ordered it for you. The reason you only see the 16GB version which is currently sold out is the S5 is due out in what 30 days. We can't expect Verizon to stock up on 32GB variants which don't sell as well for some odd reason. But if they don't offer it AT&T will and my money WILL go there.
