Galaxy S5 help

My Galaxy S55 recently stopped working. I can still feel it vibrate sometimes and the light at the top comes on periodically. Sometimes the screen comes on but it freezes up within about 1 or 2 minutes.
I took it to the Verizon store today and the person I talked to basically told me there was nothing they could do to get my pictures off of it and we would just have to try ourselves. I was wondering if anyone has any advice to help me get my pictures onto my computer.

Hello and welcome to Android Forums Yag1877!

I assume that you did not save your photos to an external SD card?

If you are sync'd with Google Drive, etc; as per Backup! Backup! Backup! NOW!, you should find them in your online accounts.

If you have not taken any precautions to backup your photos, then you can try to recover them by connecting your phone to your computer and run Samsung's PC suite, Kies, or Smart Switch

Alternatively, try following the steps in...

Camera photos are in the, "DCIM", file on your phone.
