I want a silent shutter. Even my old EVO let me turn off the shutter sound. I can't see how to do that on the S5. Anyone?

I know on my s3 if I turn the volume on silent it will turn the shutter off, idk if it would work on the s5

Thanks for the screenshot... which carrier and country are you in? I don't have that option on my Verizon S5 in the US.

Thanks

Did you scroll down? On the AT&T version it's not visible until you do.

I had the click off on my previous phones and silly fools who I'd ask to take photos who mess it up by not waiting until the photo was taken so I turned it back on

I have Sprint and I do not have it either. I did scroll down

T-Mobile version has the option to turn it off. Select settings icon and scroll down just a bit. It's on the bottom right.

Verizon doesn't have that "shutter sound" option either....however..

if you have your call volume on silent or vibrate...than there is no shutter sound.

On the Sprint model at least, if the phone is on vibrate it doesn't make the shutter noise. But there's no option in settings for shutter noise, which would be nice to have if someone doesn't want his phone in vibrate but still wants his shutter sound silent.

Google "enforced stream silencer". It's should be the first result. Not sure if it works in the s5,but worked on my note 3 and other Samsung phones.

You have to scroll down on the setting menu.

Verizon doesn't have that option either....even if you scroll down.
