That's a GS5 feature.

Well I'm not happy at all. This is the worst battery life I've had on a phone in a couple of years. I hope Sony brings the Z1 compact to the states. I imported one of those and it would give me 7-10 hours of on screen time. Didn't expect this result.

Im getting some heavy kernel usage too, minimal apps being used. Anyone else?

Coming from a 2 year old S3, battery life on the S5 is way, way better.

Last update before I go to bed. Wanted to run it down to 10-15% like I normally would and see what kind of battery life I got. Day 2 of having the phone. This is pretty much all on wifi. Auto brightness and high accuracy location.

Somehow you always get much better battery life than anyone else and every device. Not doubting you as you obviously have screen shots. Just wondering how you do it

If you think that I'm getting the best then stop trolling me and look at other people's battery usage. Need more from others? Go to XDA and look at S5 battery posts. S5 has a great battery, stop being a hater and enjoy it if you have one.

My battery life is no where near as advertised. In burning through 5% an hour without even touching the phone. And I'm on wifi. Very disappointed. My M8 is much better.

My battery is crapppp....I picked up the phone last night and plugged it into chage from 11pm to 5am...went back to sleep, woke up at 9am and battery was at 2%...could I have gotten a faulty phone ? 4 hour battety life...WiFi was on, bluetooth was on, power saving options were off. I dont understand what caused this huge drain.

Phone may be going back if I dont figure this out :-\:-[

Agreed. I'm on day 3 and have only charged twice and thats with heavy usage. Can you imagine the numbers if power saving settings were thrown in? It will take a week or so before the non believers realize that the S5 is something special, but they will. Good luck.
