So i got my new galaxy s5 mini from the store on Sunday, my first views were that it was a really good phone. However, in the past two days, ive noticed a problem with my battery. Overnight, it lost 40% battery life and i hadn't touched the phone in. 12 hours... My life is drained about 1% every minute on average.... It says android OS takes up. 43% battery.. How can i reduce this..? Thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! Issues like that often clear up after a reboot. If it doesn't, then do the following: Charge up to 100%, then let it drain to 20-30% with normal usage, without charging in between. Then show us:

1. The main Settings>Battery screen.
2. The fullscreen battery graph screen (which shows Awake time and Cell Signal Strength).
3. The Screen category (to see total Screen On time).
4. The Cell Standby category, if present (to see Time Without Signal).

Hello,

I am having also battery problem with my 2 day purchased phone. 60% of my battery is consumed by "MEDIA". Do you know what media is it? What to do? Here I attach the screenshots as well.
