Galaxy S5: Notifications still beeping.

I just got a Samsung Galaxy s5 a few days ago. I'd like to get notifications for text messages and I'd like it to beep every 2 minutes. I have that set up and so far as good. I'd like to also get Facebook notifications. I don't want them to beep though. I'd like the icon to show up in the notifications panel without a sound. So far I'm getting the notifications but they are beeping and well beeping every two minutes like the text messages. I went in through Facebook settings and unchecked the box that says it will make a sound, but it's still making a sound.

Suggestions. I'm trying to figure this out without having to download an app...is that possible? Thanks.
