Hi,

I have had a Samsung Galaxy S5 since it's release and having issues with it - the phone getting ridiculously HOT!

As with any phone when it heats up, the battery drain then rapidly discharges and before you know it, the battery is dead.

Could someone (anyone?) help me out on this.

Thanks in advance.

It could be poor signal, hot weather and having the phone in your pocket don't help either.

Have you installed an app recently that could be helping to get the phone that hot?

Most likely you have an app that has not shut down and it is over heating. Restart the phone or maybe even factory reset the it as well. It could also be your SD card, I have seen many instances where it causes it to over heat. Remove it and run the phone with out it some and see what happens.

Run the phone in Ultra Power Savings Mode overnight. That will shut all apps but phoning and messaging. When you leave that Mode, any rogue apps should be functioning normally.
