I apologize if I missed this, but can't seem to find the answer anywhere. Will the S5 being using a micro or nano SIM card?

This picture might help you out, I can't really tell what size it is and the media isn't helping either

microSIM, microSD just like the GN3. They stack for efficiency.

Re: S5 SIM card style?

That's funny because on gsmarena it says its a nanosim

Everyone here in Switzerland advertised it as a nano SIM, so I got one of those before the S5 arrived, only to find out that it actually needs a micro. Effing great - my provider charges 45$ for a new SIM card.

Re: S5 SIM card style?

Get an adapter, youll save about 30 bucks.

Never again. I destroyed my former S4 with one of those. The pins in the SIM tray rip off very easily - if there's even the tiniest gap between the card and the adapter, it'll shred the pins to pieces next time you remove the SIM.

Re: S5 SIM card style?

I got the wrong one too... but if you move it to the right, and only push it in until the edge of the card is flush with the end of the socket, a 'nano' card will work in a 'micro' slot. The actual contacts are the same only the size of the plastic is different.
