Galaxy S5 SLOW when using WiFi

Galaxy S5 rooted with KitKat 4.4.4 . My phone decided to barely work when on WiFi at home. My laptop and my wife's iphone are getting about 25 mbps download and 4mbps upload speeds, while my phone is only getting 0.5 mbps download. Off wifi and just on 4G it gets about 50mbps download speeds. There were no changes to anything in my phone in the past few weeks that would have changed this. I connected to the WiFi at a car dealership today and could watch videos on my phone no problem. I'm completely stumped on this one. Anyone have a suggestion?

1) Get a new phone or something I guess
2) Get a better wi-fi
3) see who's using the most wi-fi
4) Shut off the wi-fi at night and turn it back on in the morning
5) Stop downloading loads of things
But those are the only 5 options I have so far. But you don't have to use them if you think they are bad.
Just my own opinion just to try.
