I don't think I've seen the blue available for any carriers either. I'm curious if I should wait or what.

U could just buy the black one, then get the blue back cover off ebay
The phones in the front have the same black look except the white one

I just don't understand how people stay with Verizon. What's the lure?

Reliable phone and data service is what their user base usually say.

I haven't been on any other carrier (well I guess unless you can count Alltel before VZW acquired them), so I can't really compare, but I do usually get great service. If you're anywhere near a reasonably populated area, strong 4g is pretty much guaranteed. I'm not sure if I've ever been somewhere where I've lost service completely. Maybe in the middle of nowhere in the mountains.

Most reliable overall, unlimited unthrottled 4GLTE and hotspot (legacy plan), 4GLTE even in remote areas. Plus my Verizon plan is by far the cheapest for my uses, which admittedly are atypical. Great contract pricing promotions. I got my Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 3 for $90 on release day. The m8 was BOGO plus 30 % off on release day.

Now those who byod certainly won't find Verizon appealing. But depending on the plan, if you are currently on a current Verizon plan with edge with employee discount , you could be paying as much as if you decided to switch to tmobile

I thought Samsung was holding back the blue and gold options for later launch which is just lame, its a colored back cover on a black phone. Just sell the covers and call it a day or get a nice Spigen Slim Armor case that has a similar blue color and get the protection of the case.

Best Buy could get a full blue phone like what happened with the S4. I'm betting something like this will happen...

I am sure the different backs will be available soon on Ebay.

Just get the black and then get the blue cover.

Just added expense which seems a bit unfair. Samsung totes that it comes in these diff colors then they should give us the option in the beginning.

Because Verizon has the best service and the best coverage hands down. If you travel like a lot of us do then service and coverage is number one. One of the Kickers is that most of the Verizon phones get better battery life because of the great signal all the time.

Depends on where you live. Verizon is not very good compared to T-Mobile, where I live. And they are only getting better and better.

But I'm sure that would change if you hot in your car drove for a few miles. I'm not a big Verizon fan but I travel all over the country and they have the best coverage by a long shot.

I drive all over Oregon, more than "a few miles". T-Mobile has never let me down.

That's nice. T-Mobile will let me down if I drive from Chicago to my parents' house in Kansas or to my sister's in Indianapolis. Verizon does not.

Defending t mobile coverage against Verizon coverage? Good luck with that.

Again... FOR MY PURPOSES and MY SURROUNDING AREA, T-Mobile is a BETTER option. I'm not sitting here claiming T-Mobile has overall better coverage. READ.
