I don't get it, what were you being so rude/dismissive for? It's a perfectly valid complaint. It really isn't something that should be happening. And things don't change lest people make it clear they want it to be.

Have you never had something to complain about that someone could easily be as dismissive?

When the guy insults me, I have a reason to be rude. Thanks.
