Galaxy S5 will not work unless plugged into the charger.

When I unplug the Galaxy S5 from charger it will not work.

One possibility is a loose fitting battery that is not making contact. Check the battery fit and if a little loose, put a thin strip of paper at the bottom. Alternatively, you have a faulty battery that is not taking a charge.
