Galaxy s6 active stuck on blue screen

While I was charging my s6 active a solid blue screen came on and the phone instantly became unresponsive to anything i tried to do. the green led light is blinking and my alarm even went off this morning, but the blue sceen is still on and phone remains unresponsive. how can i fix this or did my phone die for good?

Welcome to Android Central! Try to force a shutdown by pressing and holding Power and Vol Down for about 15-20 seconds. Then see if you can power on normally.
