Galaxy s6 and gear s2

I bought the gear s2 in the usa but my phone is from Europe. Seems that the gear management app doesnt work as it isnt compatible with the Gear S2 US version.
How can I trick the phone to think we are in the USA so the Gear App works.
If not how can I download the Gear Management Apk US version.
Hope someone can help as I am not longer in the US and cant return the product.

Are you saying that samsung hasn't released an s2 compatible gear manager outside the US (and I presume korea)? That's interesting.

There should be places to obtain the gear manager apk, but if not perhaps you could use a us-based VPN to install the apk. Though that wouldn't work if the app store checks the model number of the phone.
