Galaxy S6 and Google Drive Integration Issues

Using "my files" app I can connect to google drive after it processes for a good while, however it does not seem to update, and has issues retrieving files even over the fastest connection. I have wiped the phone and also tried clearing the data for "my files" just upgraded the OS that was released in the last few days today hoping it would fix it but all I got was Samsung pay and gear and some new flashy icons, it still does not function, I have no issues with the google drive app itself. I would really like it integrated with the my files app, I pay for a terabyte of data for syncing with my pc and EOS camera etc. anybody got this to work?

Hello! Welcome to Android Central. Google drive is entirely cloud based, so I'm not sure if you can have your drive documents sync with your files app since they technically are not on your device. Google drive is a file folder in itself.
