I currently own a galaxy s6 (t-mobile) 64 gb, as much as I love the phone, I've been concerned with its battery life. There are times when I have to charge it twice or even more than that in a day. Usually, It's 1 full charge then the rest are partial charges, (40-80% rule) What i'm bothered with is that every time I receive a text message, or open an app, the battery decreases by 1%, instantly. I've been reading posts of s6 owners saying that they can go through a full day with 3-4ish hours SOT, without doing too much disabling of apps and whatnot. I've disabled alot of the "cool" yet useless apps on my s6, such as droid/samsung pay, s health, nfc, bluetooth, wifi, keeping the software and apps up-o-date (running Droid Lollipop 5.1.1 currently) I've changed the app launcher as well to Nova Prime. Although I've seen an improvement on the battery life, it seems to hold a charge longer, for as long as I'm not using it. But once I receive an SMS, or some push update, the battery goes down by a charge ASAP, sometimes, it gradually decreases while the screen is off. Given that scenario, I can go through 20hrs on battery with an (1) hour-ish of Screen on Time. Battery drains fast, when I'm on spotify as well.

Am I the only one experiencing this?

I'd like to know what other S6 owners think, I'd appreciate tips on how to use the s6 more efficiently. Coming from the iPhone 6, all I can say is that the S6 blows the iPhone 6 out of the water...EXCEPT THE BATTERY LIFE.
