Galaxy S6 edge

So a couple of days ago I found a s6 edge outside and I tried to reset it and set it up but it wants the previous users email. I was hoping I would be able to keep it being that my s5 is starting to act up. Is there anyone out there that knows a way that I could get around that?

Hello. I don't think you can get around that. You should take the lost device and turn it in to the carrier or the police.
