Galaxy S6 discharged completely to 0% at night. I plugged it in the morning. It charged about 47%. I took it off the charger but it didn't turn on. I tried Plugging it in but now it is not even charging. and now i'm left with a brick phone.

I tried the power+volume down button and tried to hard reset it but i got no luck. any help?

Welcome to Android Central! Plug it into a wall outlet and let it charge undisturbed for a good 12 hours or so. Then, press and hold Power and Vol Down for about 20 seconds (to force a shutdown, in case it's frozen on a blank screen). Then wait a few seconds, and then press and hold Power along for another 20 seconds. If nothing happens, then the battery may have completely failed -- you'd have to bring it to a repair shop to replace it.

And in the future, never allow the battery to discharge past 40% before either charging it or shutting the phone off. Lithium batteries are not deep discharge batteries. A month of dragging it down to 10%-15% will totally kill the battery. A few years of recharging it at the 50% point will leave you with 90% of the battery's capacity.
