There are a couple of ways but I think that until you master the other one the easiest way is to press power and home buttons at the same time for about a second.

Just for my own sense of curiosity, what are these other ways you speak of? Home/power is the way I've always done it on this and every other Samsung phone.

Go to gesture settings in the settings menu and turn on the swipe to capture.

Keeping mine simple for now...I thought I would slap Nova Launcher on top of TouchWiz but I'm actually liking it quite a bit! And the theme engine is pretty cool, was using the Avengers one for a bit
