Android Central Question

I have Had a Samsung Galaxy S6 For About 2 Weeks now, And i was just plugging my phone in when the screen went black and green lines started jumping around. Then my phone turned back on and a blue-purple patch appeared on the top left side of the screen. the touch screen didnt work below the patch but above it, it did. i attempted to power off using power off + volume down but no luck. i also knew it was working on the inside as the green light was flashing (btw what does the flashing green light mean?) and when i tried my fingerprint it vibrated. please help!

I'd say Belodion is right - at least a bad screen, and possibly a problem with the motherboard. A solid green light means "fully charged". A flashing green light is either coming from some app, or some component failure on the motherboard is causing it. It's under warranty, so bring it back and ask for a replacement if possible, or a repair at worst. (You'll probably lose all your data, so I hope you have everything important backed up. If you don't, you should start backing up once you get the fixed or replaced phone back.
