Galaxy S6 Won't Connect to Computer

[AC Question]

Recently I've been trying to connect my S6 to my laptop and it no longer recognizes it. I used to have the option from the drop down bar when the USB was plugged in (charging, file transfer, image transfer etc), but it only charges it now. I only use Samsung chargers, so I don't know if that has something to do with it either. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have the same problem. When I first got the phone, everything was fine. The problem seemed to start with the Lollipop update. I was hoping now that Nougat has rolled out that it'd correct itself. However, I still get an error message saying that the USB device is not recognized.
