Android Central Question

My home screen indicator is a colored strip about 1/4" wide that sits between the two rows of favorite icons at the bottom of the home page and includes the dots for each home page. Suddenly the indicator moved so that it sits at an angle, so instead of being horizontal it now sits lower on the left side of the phone and higher on the right side of the phone. Is there any way to straighten it out?

It's the wallpaper's design. If you measure the distance between the dots and the icons of the lower favorites tray, they're the same on the left and the right.

You're right about that, concerning the dots. But it's the red strip that moved. It used to be straight across. Now the left side is partially below the phone icon and then it proceeds at an angle up and to the right. It ends up under the words NY Times. It used to sit below those words.

Try changing the wallpaper. If it disappears then you know it's the wallpaper. you can always put it back

I'll just switch to another wallpaper. It will always be a mystery to me why the current wallpaper changed.

If this was a preinstalled wallpaper, then look through your other choices. Sometimes they have variations of the same general pattern.
