I have had my Samsung Galaxy S7 (Not edge) for over a year and it has been a great phone. Then all of a sudden, after AT&T pushed out Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, I'm having both Bluetooth and Wifi issues and it is driving me insane.
I cannot listen to any bluetooth speaker or headset. The music is unlistenable because it skips and stutters a few times per second. I have tried it on 6 different bluetooth devices. I can no longer connect to my car which I was still paired with, so I tried to re-pair them and they cannot find each other.
I have scoured the internet searching for answers and only found thousands of similar complaints. Anyone who was lucky enough to find a solution, their solution did not help for me.
I have tried all of this and nothing has helped:
- Turning the screen on/off.
- I have cleared the cache partition
- I have tried it with wifi and mobile network. Tried turning wifi off.
- Turned device syncing off
- The problem happens regardless of proximity to my body. I can be holding my phone or 12 feet away from everything and it doesn't help.
- It doesn't matter if I'm streaming music or playing a music file off my memory, or if it is music or video.
- I have cleared the cache/data of any system apps that have to do with Bluetooth or anything else that seemed remotely related.
I'm at the end of my rope
Anyone! Throw me a line!
Thanks.
Troy
