Galaxy S7 continually restarting after update

[Android Central Question]

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 and I just did the update last night. AT&T is my provider. After the update, it keeps restarting the phone every minute or two. I'll log on and there's a progress bar that says "Finishing Android Update." Sometimes that will get a small amount of progress on the bar before restarting, sometimes it won't. I've charged up the battery and used it plugged in (a suggestion), I've booted in safe mode, I've tried Clearing the System Cache Partition also but nothing has helped. I'm leaning towards doing a full reset but I don't think anything or everything is backed up. The phone is getting very warm and the battery is draining very quickly.

Welcome to Android Central! Unfortunately, it sounds like a problem during the update, so a factory reset might be required. If the problem persists even after a factory reset, then the firmware might have become corrupted. In that case, you can try reinstalling the firmware using Smart Switch or Odin (http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...w-flash-stock-rom-via-odin-new-interface.html).
