Galaxy S7 Crashed

Not sure why it crashed but last night before going to bed, I went to charge my phone and when I plugged the cord in to charge it, I saw where an update from Oculus had been installed. Didn't think much about it, as they had a recent update to fix the problem of battery drain. So after it was fully charged, I unplugged and when to bed. This morning when I got up and went to check my phone nothing happened. So I figure the Oculus app has drained the battery again. When I plugged the charging cord into the phone nothing happened. Not only could I not turn it on, I couldn't even charge it. So I took it to a place that does phone repair and after a few minutes they showed me that it had crashed. Don't know why. I've only had it for 90 days or so. Anyone have this problem, or know what might have been the cause?

What does, "it had crashed" mean? What do you see if you try to factory reset the phone?
