So, I got the phone and everything looks good except that there's no watch.

Okay, update time. The watch did come in today. I don't want toput wrich on blast or anything but...

When I said the watch didn't get shipped he shot me a pm, explained what happened , apologized, and then said he would throw in some goodies to make up for the probem. He offered this and I did not ask for anything extra, and truth be told I would not complain over there being no extra goodies. However, in the listing he said that the watch came with the red band and a gray band. The red one is on the watch but there was no gray one in teh package. So not only did he say he would make it up to me and didn't, but he didn't even send the band in the listing.

Ultimately everything is pretty much as described and works well, and unless I overlooked something all of the other items got delivered. I have not PMed him today as I have been dealing with Internet issues all day and just fixed it. I think I am just going to let sleeping dogs lie on the band not being here just so I can be done with this. I don't know if I lean torward calling this neutral or negative but it is one of the least smooth transactions I've had on stuff like this.

It is what it is. I've been buying and swapping phones online since around 2009 starting on HowardForums. It could have been worse.

Glad you got most your stuff. From the moment you sent payment it seems things went sour. It's unfortunate. It's weird that he'd specifically mention throwing in some goodies and then not including anything. Did he forget what he sent? Is definitely categorize this as negative. Is not buy from this person.

Let me add my unsolicited opinion

-If you bought an item at a local store and it was missing items you would return it.
-I understand you not wanting to deal with it, but at minimum this is a negative transaction, at maximum this is a dispute with you seeking the rest of the items listed in the original sale ad.


Glad you finally received most of your items and not trying to stir anything, but you were promised items in exchange for money, you delivered, OP did not.

Thanks for the thoughts. I think I would just say that in my eyes the big difference between this happening and it happening with a store is if it's say Wal Mart, we are talking about a company that is making hundreds of millions of dollars a year whereas in this case we are talking about a guy who probably just made a mistake and is overloaded. I mean he hasn't even attempted to explain or defend himself and in the end, it looks like I could probably buy another band for $10-$15.

So, yeah, kind of negative but I would not write him off for good. I at least like that we have this recorded and people can kind of know what they are getting into.
