Galaxy S7 Edge - Optimal Temperature & Heat

exynos 5.1 s7 running super cool
in my other pics I'd just been charging it 99% CPU heat 27%

not charging at idle and CPU heat 23%
Don't know what is wrong with my device. From the day 1 it was like that. Not sure whether it's something related to a 'faulty device' as some say.

just been playing beach buggy blitz game trying to heat the CPU up

CPU heat 25%

I need to check whether it's really a problem caused by any apps. I will boot into safe mode but how to check the temperature there at idle state without the help of any 3rd party app?

Your temperatures seems unreal. I think i have a cool phone (even cooler when i'm playing), but Aida64 right now that it is under charge, indicate a 33.7° battery temperature. Your phone seems to be permanently into the fridge..odd.

Mine is getting hot a lot for the past 2 days! No matter how much I clean, it doesnt matter, the device is becoming hot, even if it is in idle state.

I am planning to return this and get a new device. May be it is a bad device.

Did you have any luck changing device? I have this phone and mines constantly hot

I returned my phone at around the time you posted this with the same issues you have - Charged me £275 for Impact Damage on the Motherboard despite no actual external damage. I'd imagine the heat of the phone affected the motherboard.
I've eventually got my phone back Last week, and lo and behold phone overheating again.

They're picking it up again on the Monday, not giving me a replacement phone, nor replacing the Screen Protector which I just bought after they guaranteed it was fixed.

Temperatures I hit after a 5minute run in Clash Royale-

My S7 is the Exynos version. I use Battery Widget graph to monitor temps. Max temp with high CPU use is never higher than 34c and goes down to overnight idle of 19c ambient.

If I charge immediately after heavy use 30-32c , temp drops while normal cable charging to around 20c. The opposite happens while wireless fast charging with temp rising during charge to around 32c.

I do believe the Exynos version is more battery efficient and runs cooler than the SD version. I will only get the S8 if I can get an Exynos version.

Whats your ambient temperature ? It's so important . Where i live in summer its above 35 c outside and my phone temperature gets around 38 c with normal use when I'm outside and up to 43c with heavy use !!
