Galaxy S7 Edge or Galaxy S6 Edge Plus

Last week i upgraded my phone from galaxy Note 3 to Galaxy S6 edge plus and received the phone yesterday. Now that S7 edge announced today, i am confused to keep S6 edge plus or return it under buyer remorse and upgrade to s7 edge? As per my understanding galaxy note and edge plus series are both more premium devices than S and S edge series. Third option is to skip upgrade altogether right now and keep using my old galaxy note 3 until s7 edge plus and Note 6 are out later this year. Any opinions as to what should I do? Help please. I am.on Rogers network.

I would go with the s6 edge...

Only reason to go with S7 edge over s6 edge plus:

A little smaller... (maybe that is a con for you?)
Waterproof
SD card slot
Bigger battery
Edge feature allows you to add more items and switch out stuff.
Always on display.

IMO I would return it and get S7 edge unless you got an amazing deal on s6 edge plus. If you are like most of us phone junkies... You will hate the fact that you bought a discontinued phone the day the new one came out.

Like you said, you could just stick with your Note and wait about 5 months and see what Note 6 is about.

For me, It all comes down to how good of a deal you got on s6 edge plus.?

I don't believe an s7 edge plus is in the works. I think the bigger 5.5" screen on the s7 edge is the "cover all" edge device.
If there isn't much difference between the s6 edge plus you just got and the s7 edge, got with the s7 edge. There's always something better on newer models are that most people will overlook when shopping.
Mc4nam said "the only reason..." above yet listed 6 reasons.
Another plus for the s7 is the camera. Check out some of the samples online. If it were 5.5" non-edge, I would get one.

Has anyone noticed if there was a notification led light on these? Since there is a always on display, wasn't sure if they still have that on either phone?

I didn't list camera because the camera on S6 edge plus is amazing... I realize S7 camera may be better but it won't be that much better.

Thinking about it more.... If you actually use the Saints pen on your note.... Send it back and wait on Note 6....If not, Send it back and get S7 for all the other reason.. ... I mentioned earlier.

I think for low light and motion shots, it could be a significant improvement, at least based on the unpacked event.

Always get the newest phone you can get. The S7 Edge does what the S6 Edge Plus does and more... so get the new phone!
