galaxy S7 edge- sd card. How can I upload music onto my sd card and the phone reads it for playback per playlist, artist, song, etc?

What I did - I connected the phone to a PC and using Windows Explorer I copied music from the PC to a folder I called "Music" on the SD card. I use PowerAmp as a player and in its settings I point to that Music folder as the sole source to scan for music.

I did the same exact thing. I use PowerAmp and also Nutron. I have about 125 gbs of music on the card and it will search by anything I choose.

I use mediamonkey on my laptop and phone. I use the pro version of both so I just sync everything via Wi-Fi. But even the free versions are great. I have 50k of tracks on my laptop and it handles them no problem.
