Sd cards coming back to phones?

Be still my heart. But nah. I saw "SammyFans" site reporting rumors that SD cards were under consideration by manufacturers because of the increasing cost of hard drive space on phones. (Yeah, like I've been saying for years....!) Apparently all the old reasons for getting rid of SD cards would be ditched. Card/SIM slots would serve dual purposes again. Etc.

I'd love it. Not happening. Not as long as manufacturers sell pricey hard drive space!

The are happy to push other moving part features at us such as folding screen phones but not the move-once-and-the-jobs-done SD cards.

Sony still has it on their flagship Xperia line. My Xperia 1 V has one installed.
