Galaxy S7 Edge wifi issues

I am having issues with the wifi randomly dropping on my new Galaxy S7 Edge. I know there have been reports of this issue affecting a percentage of users of these phones, and I believe there was an update that was supposed to roll out to fix this. I have T-Mobile, does anyone know when this update is rolling out, or if it already has, or other ways to fix the wifi drops?

Many people have found that disabling ipv6 on their routers and just using ipv4 seems to fix the issue

I am looking at my tp link router and don't see a way to disable ipv6. I also have the issue at work and can't change router settings there

That's a bummer... On my router under wlan settings there is a box to disable ipv6
