Galaxy S7: GPS issues

Using Maps, the phone will occasionally display the wrong location. The difference is usually 3 - 10 miles away. I have even observed the map jumping to a new location several miles away while the phone is at rest. By toggling Location Off/On sometimes the phone will reset to the correct location, other times it will not. It seems like restarting the phone will always fixed the location temporarily.

Is this a known problem with Samsung phones ? I found a GPS fix guide in the S5 forums. This is my first Samsung phone and the only phone that GPS has caused me any problems.
