Galaxy s7 Mini?

Anyone heard anything on this lately? I've personally missed this size of phone since trading my Original Moto X off on a Pure Edition. Not the biggest Samsung/Touch Wiz fan but the high spec phones in this size range are pretty much non existent, especially with US Cellular.

There has been no rumblings of a mini variant - at least not that I've seen. It looks like there might be an active version, but it's not known if it will be the same size, smaller, or bigger than the current S7.
