Galaxy S7 mobile network reconnection trouble

[Android Central Question]

I take the subway to work everyday. Part of my route goes underground for a bit. Before the train goes underground i have a very good network connection. After the train leaves the underground tunnels my Galaxy S7 doesn't automatically reconnect to my network even though i should have a very good connection. The only way for me to reconnect is for me to restart my phone. How do i make it so it connects when there is a signal available by its self?

1st, check your connection settings. Also, you should be able to toggle wifi off then back on from the pull down menu.

Welcome to Android Central! I think methodman89 means to toggle Airplane Mode off and on again, to restart the cell radio (rather than wi-fi).

Does this also happen in Safe Mode? https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-28008. Do you have any power-saving modes turned on?

I always have medium power saving on

Turning on Airplane mode then turning it off works 100%!!! Toggling power saving did nothing btw

Glad that works, but it still shouldn't happen. Did you try booting into Safe Mode to see if it still happens then?
