Galaxy S7 overheating

Hi All,

ive been noticing my Galaxy S7 battery life draining a lil bit faster, also ive noticed its getting warmer and overheating at times. any suggestions to fix this? any update cause this? I was personally thinking about getting a note 5 eventually.

You could check the battery stats to see what app is running thr CPU causing it to heat up. A rogue app can do that.

Do a Cache wipe partition. Worked for mine when my systems update caused my phone's battery to drain faster and also to heat up hotter than normal. Cache wipe fixed it.

Since then, I've been wiping my phone on a weekly basis to make sure it cleans up any bugs and ram to make it run faster/smoother. Wiping, not mistaken for factory reset.

I've noticed the same lately, clearing cache partition didn't help, I hqve no apps going beserk either..., doesn't matter as I'll get the iphone 7 next week.
