Galaxy S7 screen lights up every 5 minutes, how can I stop this?

Galaxy S7 screen lights up every 5 minutes

For the last couple of weeks I've noticed that my phone will randomly light up and a notification "Finding location" pops up, after a quick second the notification goes away and then a second after that the screen turns off.
First off, why is there even a notification for "Finding location"?

Secondly how can I configure it so the "Finding location" notification doesn't turn the screen on?
If the phone is locked it should only light up for new message (Texts, FB Messenger, Hangouts) all other notifications I would like to configure to not light the screen.

Welcome to Android Central! Is it a notification in the notification bar? If so, the next time you see it, swipe down the notification panel and long-press the notification. Then tap App Info to find out what's generating it.
