After the recent update, I am unable to get Android Auto to launch on my '17 Hyundai Elantra. I have a Galaxy s7 with Verizon. I have tried restarting the head unit in my Elantra, uninstalling and reinstalling the AA app, changing USB connection mode from charging to MTP, a different usb cable, removing all cars from AA, enabled usb debugging, and removing bluetooth connection with car and phone and adding it back. Can anybody help? I really did enjoy using AA in my car.

Did you try rebooting your phone? I had to do that a few times in the past. Well maybe there was another workaround less drastic but I tried a lot of things like you then finally rebooted the phone.

We have a 2017 Elantra and AA has worked in it since the first day we bought it. We have Google phones, a Nexus 5x and a Pixel XL for phones. We both have Android Nougat but mine is 7.1 and hers 7.0. I think hers had already gotten 7.0 by the time the Elantra came along. So must be the interaction between new AA update and your phone. Do you have 7.0? Wouldn't think its specific to the version of Android you have or a whole lot more people would be having issues.

Same here. I think the new AA app is only supposed to work on the phone. Not sure if this is a bug they'll resolve eventually or not. My S7 won't even try to pair via AA with my car anymore. :(
