Galaxy S8 froze and turned off

Late last night while using my S8 with regular apps, like YouTube and chrome, my phone just froze for a few seconds and turned itself off. I had around 35% battery so I turned it back on. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this or if this is common? I've had Android in the past but I've never seen that before on any phone that I've used previously.

My 8+ didn't freeze but today it did shut off while I was doing something similar. It's been fine since

Mine does if I don't occasionally run maintenance daily, even then it'll have a freeze up once in a while.

Maybe I'll go into that manual system and clear the cache like they showed me before
