Galaxy S8 notification bar goes up on it's own!

Every time I pull down the notification bar it goes up on it's own, even when I don't swipe up. Some times it does (and when it does some times it's instantly,as soon as I pull down the notification bar or some times it will stay and then go up on it's own) , some times it doesn't, but most of the time when I'm just trying to check a quick notification it swipes up on it's own. I've reseted my phone many times but I still get the same thing.
Is this just my phone been weird? Or a software thing?

Do you have a screen protector on? If so, does it happen when you take it off?

I'm Having the exact damn problem and it's annoying as hell. The problem happens with Messenger app as well.

No screen protector, and I recently reinstalled messenger and cleared cache for other reasons.


Will provide more details when I get home.

So, I read elsewhere that suggested issues with alternate launchers.

I'm using the latest Nova, so I basically backed up and was about to uninstall, but unintentionally started up a quick setup guide. Did that and now the problem hasn't manifested itself again. Same with the issue with my Messenger app.

Wasn't the previous "solution".

Turns out it was a sprint related programe Secure Wi-Fi that was causing issues. Uninstalled and am about a day in problem free territory
