Galaxy S8 Ringtones for mail and other notifications revert to the default ringtone.

My Gmail account when I set up the ringtone is the same as my default ringtone even though I have set them up separately. How do I get them to work separately

Welcome to Android Central! Is it a custom tone? If so, go to the App Manager and make sure the app has permission for your files/storage. Also, are your custom tones saved to Internal Storage or the SD card? Make sure they're on Internal Storage, in the Notifications or Ringtones directory.
