Galaxy S8+ Super Slow Motion 8 seconds only?

[Android Central Question]

I have been trying to use my S8+ Super Slow Motion mode, what happens is I hit record and it immediately stops and saves the video. Why is this happening?

Regular Slowmotion records normally until I stop it myself.

For super slow motion you have to set it to either multi-take or single-take (in the camera settings); sounds like you have it set to single-take mode.

Should be right there in the camera settings... It shows up for me on Camera, Settings and there's a Super Slow-mo option.

i do see the super slow-mo option, but i was saying once you enter super slow-mo, there is NO option to select multi-task mode.

if you are using note8 and have the mutli-task mode, can you upload a screenshot

Note 9,though... Don't see why it would be different on an 8

Because the option was introduced on the 9 series ( ⁠both 'Note' and 'S'). Doesn't exist on the 8 series.
