Galaxy S8 swipe lock screen

I was wondering if anybody can tell me if you turn off the swipe lock screen on my Galaxy S8 as I wish to use Nova Launcher to customise my phone the way I like it thanks

Welcome to Android Central! Are you asking if it's possible to get rid of the swipe-to-unlock? If you go to the lockscreen settings in the system settings, is there an option for None?

As far as I can see that option is not available I went to lock screen and security went through the options in there and did not find the option for none I have recently reset my phone thinking it may have been something in there stopping that option from Appearing but it was still not there so if I am looking in the wrong place I would appreciate an exact road map to that option lol thanks very much for your help

Sorry, I don't have that exact phone, so I'm not sure if it's possible to completely get rid of the swipe to unlock. One way to get around the swipe to unlock requirement would be to use Smart Lock. The On-Body Detection option in Smart Lock would probably be your best bet.
