Galaxy s8 update

[Android Central Question]

So yesterday I updated my Galaxy s8. Today I went to my photos and I needed to delete some photos. When I hit the trash icon a message popped up. I didn't read it because I thought it was the typical "are you sure you want to delete this" or whatever message but it wasn't because that message came next. I went to delete another photo and the first message never popped up again. Anyone know what that first message was for???

I could be wrong -- but it it possible it could be the "You have one item selected?"

But why wouldn't it re-appear when you went to delete another photo?
