Galaxy S8 warranty void 1: 0x0000

[Android Central Question]

Hi there,

I have a little question. When I go into the download mode of my galaxy S8 it is showing me "warranty void 1: 0x0000". I thought this would mean that I don't have a warranty anymore. But when I download the app called Galaxy Warranty Bit checker it says my warranty isn't voided. My question is..what does the "1" after "warranty void" means in my download mode. Does it mean that Knox got tripped or not?

0×1 means you trip knox and no warranty , but s8 doesn't have warranty anymore.

But I have 0x0 so that means, that KNOX doesn't got tripped right? So do you know what the "1" means after the words "Warranty Void"?

Ok..only thing I can think why that 1 is showing if the phone is softbrick or its a refurbished phone

The phone is not soft-bricked...working totally fine and I bought it at an official store.
Could a custom ROM change chat? It doesn't change back with the original firmware.

Its possible, does Samsung pay work ? Possibly blew the fuse but didn't trip knox

KNOX got tripped because...when I use the original firmware I can't use the Samsung Secure Folder or other KNOX services and the reason why I'm using a custom ROM is that my device isn't passing the SafetyNet test with the original firmware.

Yeah it blew the fuse , it will never be allowed to use either of them

First of all thanks for answering my questions!!!
But tripping KNOX shouldn't affect my insurance. The other reason why I asked this question is that I want to repair the back of my phone .. it's shattered.

Yeah it shouldn't for to go though insurance to get repaired.
