Galaxy S9+ low volume problem during call.

Hi,

We own two Samsung S9+ phones and both have issue with low sound during call even in Safe Mode.
I saw that is a common issue but couldn't find a solution.
If you know the solution then please help me.

Btw the phones are out of guarantee, So Samsung store won't fix it for free.

Hi , welcome!

Make sure your volume in sounds is all the way up , in your notifications panel check that Dolby Atmos is enabled. Even in call use the volume button make sure it's up. Check your speakers and microphone that they are free of lint or dirt .

Of course the volume is all the way up mate. And I tried to clean the ear piece with compressed air but nothing helped.
I hope that it is a software issue that can be fixed.
If this is a hardware issue then I will ask Samsung to fix the issue with no charge.

And Dolby Atmos is toggled on in notifications drop down panel ?

Dolby Atmos works only with a headset. And it effect the sound quality and not the volume.
I an not a casual user and just asking if somebody had this issue as well and managed to find a fix.

FIX - Use a very fine brush to clean the ear piece,
As the mesh is extremely thin so only a fine brush can actually clean the dirt.

I usually use a toothbrush to clean those speakers , glad it's good now
The Dolby Atmos works in all scenarios.
