Android Central Question
I am very confused about something on my Galaxy S9 when it comes to sharing a link. If I perform a search using the Google search on my way home screen and then select a result, that web page will have the share symbol in the top right corner. If I select share to share the link, a list of all my apps appears and I can select how I want to share it which is usually by the messaging app.
If instead of searching from the home screen I open Chrome and do the exact same search and select the exact same web page the share symbol is not listed or shown. If I tap on the three dots in the top right corner to open up my options the share symbol chose up there. If I select to share as I did above, instead of all of my apps showing it will only have a few such as Gmail, WhatsApp, and a couple of others. Messaging is not shown. Because of this it is very difficult to try to get a web page link into a text message. I pretty much use Chrome for all of my searches so I would really like to figure out why all of my other apps are not being shown.
Any ideas?
