Galaxy SIII Charging Problems

I was at my cousin's house the other day and I was texting my girlfriend. So, my nosy cousin decides to take the phone from me and read my messages. But the phone was charging and she didn't know that. So she pulls my phone away and the charger is pulled out at an angle and I think it ruined my charger port. It charges very slowly. Unless the charger is in a certain position, the phone will not charge. And sometimes the battery percentage goes down while using the phone while charging. Am I going to have to get the port replaced?

Or maybe the charging cable got damaged. Try a different cable and see if that works first.
