Ah yes, sometimes this happens. Try Odin 1.85 like the comments on that website suggested

Hmm..... It seems your phone isn't accepting pit files (or at least this one). This is starting to look bad. I'll see if I can find another

It only includes one md5 file, i tried flashing it in PDA and again it sayd .PIT is needed. I tried flashing another, random samsung galaxy s3 PIT file into my phone, and it failed the same way the first one did. I don't know if that says something to you or not, just thought it's worth mentioning.

By the way, my phone is showing this when i turn it on, ever since the first firmware flash http://lgwebsitedesign.no/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/rsz_1rsz_20131120_111549.jpg

I hate to say this, but I think your phone may be hard bricked to an extent. It can get into download mode, but the pit is missing or corrupted which is causing writing errors. We can't seem to write a new pit because the whole phone can't seem to read and write data. At this point, it takes equipment to fix this issue. Luckily, you're not completely screwed. There's a guy over at mobile tech videos who fixes these problems everyday. It costs a little money, but it's better than buying a whole new phone. If I had to take a guess, you probably flashed modified firmware or the LTE international version firmware by accident. Anyway, this really can't be fixed without the proper equipment. I highly recommend this guy and I'm sure he'll do an excellent job. Here's the website http://mobiletechvideos.mybigcommerce.com/samsung-galaxy-s-iii-jtag-brick-repair/

Which hardware piece is most likely to be screwed?

on this thread [Guide]Odin Flash Guide - Page 129 - xda-developers they say that if it says that the .PIT file is missing when flashing firmware i need to change the motherboard couse I have damaged PIT or Nand and will need to buy a new motherboard.

This is somewhat correct. Without the proper equipment that this guy has, you would need to replace the motherboard. I'm no genius when it comes to this equipment, but it connects directly to the motherboard and storage for flashing and installing firmware. This is what is done in the Factory to some extent. Another motherboard would cost a lot of money compared to this repair.

a motherboard for galaxy s3 seems to cost ~30-40$ on ebay. Repairs would cost 50$ + shipping cost to ship it across the world. I'll try to get it to my nearest support and see how much they want for repair. Thanks alot alot for the help, DA, even though we didn't solve the problem I stil learned a lot from you and it will come in handy in the future :)

No problem, I'm glad I could help. Just a warning though, if you bring it to any Samsung facility they will not repair it cheap (or at all possibility, they might just make you pay for a new one). If you do get a motherboard off of eBay, just be careful and make sure it works. If you have any more questions or problems I'm always on the site somewhere
