And what also pisses me off... you saw articles months ago saying Samsung was taking ads off their apps... but in the Samsung store they still do the pop up ads when the app opens sometimes and you have to endure it until you get the option "don't show me again"... which they continue to do when you open the app again... be it not the same app their pumping but you can't stop it.

Tired to reporting to AdGuard and they may be able to stop it for a bit... but then Sammy always find a way to get by it.

Never see this crap on iOS preload apps.

Agreed ad's don't belong on stock app's. If I like an app I am willing to pay to remove ad's hate them.

Geez, I didn't even notice the change.

We had some paint work done & I think the fumes are getting to me. Nothing like having painters in when it 36° & you can't air out the rooms.

You can turn that off in settings for Galaxy Store. Unselect Get news and special offers and Get notified about game offers.

Nope. I turned that off FOUR years ago when I had my Note 8.

That's how I discovered AdGuard trying to find something to get rid of it. Would work for a while but Samsung would get around it and ads would come back. I'd report it and give data and get rid of it but again they'd work around it so I gave up. Made don't get any apps from Samsung Store anymore so only reason to open it is to check for Samsung app updates.

At least they little pop ups are not as annoying as the ones they use to push 4 years ago... They use to include audio the moment the pop up appeared and it was usually some obnoxious music so when you opened the app and you normally have the volume up high, wherever you are, everyone around you will hear music blaring and know you are playing with your phone :-[

Oh well, I don't get the ads with it unchecked and do with it checked. Don't know if it matters or not, but on Locked Verizon phone.
