I can get the update for my Tab 3 7.0 but I'm seriously thinking about ignoring it because I use the SD Card a lot.

My device downloaded software update and because of sd card problem I do not want to upgrade how do I remove this file from device as I cannot find where the file us being stored, any help with this would be appreciated....thanks in advance

If it's not too much of an imposition (yes, that's sarcasm), how about sharing your solution so that others will benefit. Jeez!!
Sorry about not sharing but since my post the software update file has returned and I am still trying to find a solution and if and when I find out how to remove this I will share on the site
My sister got the update but it was very quick and did not cause any problems to her tab 3.8.0. Probably because she did not have an sd card installed and still doesn't. Me on the other hand waited 40 mins for it to download and install and it caused lots of changes and some programs not to work but I DID have an sd card installed. Most things sorted now but not all.

Still waiting on Tab 3 10.1 wifi update....anybody have any news on it? Can't find anything on the webs about it.
I am sooo angry at this update. It's horrible. Had to download Dolphin browser for the work-around to adobe flash and the browser is soooo slow. Also HATE that pics and videos don't save to the SD card, didn't know about that, found out today when took pictures. I was able to move pics to the SD card, but can't seem to move video, unless I haven't found it yet. I used to tell people I LOVE my Samsung Tablet, now I am sorry I have it. Don't know what to do now. I hate it.

Update is out now!!! Just got it a few hours ago via Kies. Tab seems a little bit faster. Will update if I notice anything else about it.

My Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 does run smoother now. Less stutter and lag from my point of view. No ability to add other users though. The font is different as well which I like.
